Implement functionality for providers to manage their availability slots.
Requirements:
Provider can add available slots for:
Current day
Any future day
- Slots created by the provider must be visible to patients in their patient portal.
- For now, the slot duration is 30 minutes and the shadow time is 15 minutes. Once slots are created, the patient will see 15-minute slots in
the Patient Portal, calculated by subtracting the meeting duration (30 minutes) minus the shadow time (15 minutes). - Only users with Provider role can view and manage the “Available Timings” section in the Provider Panel.
- Patients should only see valid, unbooked slots.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Provider can create, update, and delete availability slots.
- Patient portal displays correct upcoming availability.
- Access to “Available Timings” is restricted to Provider role.
- Validations and conflict checks implemented.

QA test CAses:
- Verify Provider can add availability slots for the current day.
- Verify Provider can add availability slots for any future date.
- Verify Provider can update existing availability slots successfully.
- Verify Provider can delete availability slots successfully.
- Verify only users with Provider role can access the “Available Timings” section.
- Verify slot duration is fixed at 30 minutes with a 15-minute shadow time applied.
- Verify Patient Portal displays 15-minute available slots calculated from provider availability.
- Verify patients can see only valid and unbooked slots in the Patient Portal.
- Verify availability slots created by provider are visible to patients immediately.
- Verify system prevents overlapping or conflicting availability slots.
