Description
User Story :
As a patient, I want to receive notifications and reminders about my appointments so that I don’t miss them.
Acceptance Criteria :
- System sends reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before each appointment.
- Notifications include appointment date, time, and provider name.
- Notifications sent via email and in-app.
- If an appointment is missed, system marks it as ‘No Show’ and displays a reminder on the dashboard.

QA test cases
- Verify system sends reminder notifications 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Verify system sends reminder notifications 1 hour before the scheduled appointment.
- Verify appointment reminders include correct date, time, and provider name.
- Verify appointment reminders are delivered via both email and in-app notifications.
- Verify missed appointments are automatically marked as “No Show”.
- Verify a “No Show” reminder/alert is displayed on the patient dashboard for missed appointments.
